Volunteer Opportunities
If you would like to help with the rummage sale, here are some ways you can get involved:
- Give us your stuff: We are in need of donations of all kinds-clothes, furniture, movies, books, household items–we’ll take just about anything you’d like to give. We just ask that clothes be clean and folded, and maybe even sorted by type (women, men, kids, baby). If you’ve got something big, let us know. We can arrange for pick up.
- Help with set-up: We need volunteers to help set-up, fold, clean, price, and more on Thursday, June 10 and Friday, June 11. We will be meeting at the Spieldenner’s on Thursday instead of the regular family night, and setting up all day Friday. Let us know if you’d like to help!
- Help at the rummage: If you’re more of the rummage sale type, think about helping with the rummage on Saturday. We need people to run the register, help customers, sell food, and keep things in order. You can volunteer for just a few hours or the whole day. Things usually start around 7:00am and last until 3:00 or 4:00.
All proceeds from the spring and fall rummage sales go toward service and community projects at Dialogue.
